Multiple sources have reported that Saturday night will be the last night that Capone’s Bar Next Door will be open before shutting down and reopening February 21 as a steak house. The staff was alerted today that Saturday would be their last day of normal operation.

Yeah, that is sad. You know the economy is in trouble when a bar in Madison goes under.
Update:
The Bar Next Door will remain open until the end of February while the Coliseum Bar is renovated. Rumors are the Bar Next Door will somewhat resemble The Weary Traveller when it reopens. No word as yet about the exact closing date, name change (if any), or personnel changes.
