Love bytes: ‘Earthbound Godess’

Today, a nice simple poem for the woman that means the most to me.

Earthbound Goddess

An Angel sent
From Heaven above
Filled with Grace, Compassion,
And infinite love.

An undying spirit
That can heal any scratch
Help through the rough times
Without any catch.

Stern but fair
Is always her way
But you can count on her love
At the end of the day.

Incipiency with her laugh
Torment with a scowl
Her look of approval
Ranks above all.

Like this woman
There is no other
That is the reason
You are called Mother.

…………..
and another one I found in my book of tricks…

Brilliant Illusion

The aura of your gaze
like a robust summer breeze
fills me with warmth and desire
and can set me at ease

I see you from afar
and wish to be near
but somewhere deep inside
lies a uneasy fear

The visual virtue
is this internally mirrored
or is there something darker
more disturbing and blurred

I am yearning to know
what you are truly about
if what is seen on the outside
is constant throughout

What dominates your heart
I have yet to observe
is it something to vanquish
or an entity better preserved

Maybe some day
it will all become clear
if it is pain, if it is passion
or just a deep lying fear.

Until I can know,
or possibly relate
I will watch from a distance
and trust in fate
