As I began writing my first REAL New Years goals in about a decade, I came across a number of cool creative ideas for 2010. Smashing Magazine was promoting their “Design Something Every Day!” challenge. A couple friends decided to attempt Project365 photo-a-day on Flickr. Plus there were my own personal goals to do more writing and web design in the new year.
Rather than focus on one of these challenges, I figured why not combine a bit of them all? Therein lies my challenge for the new year.
Each day I will engage in at least one creative act – either in design, writing or photography. I hope to do the Project365 most days at bare minimum. Some months will have themes, while others (like January) will be more random. Now that I have additional time on my hands, the early months should be easy running.
I will occasionally post some aspects of the Year of Creativity (YoC) on this page, although if you want to follow my progress, here are some better resources to do so.

Love the photo theme idea for project 365. I plan to do some of that as well, was just reading up about it on Flickr this morning. Apparently there will be prompts on the bigger group, maybe our small group should come up with our own ideas, too!
